How do I access digital content?

Your subscription gives you full access to the Prospect website and app. Prospect is renowned for mastery of the written word, our digital offering also features other content formats—like podcasts—so you can enjoy Prospect in the way that best suits you.

How soon can I access digital content?

If you place your order on this website, you will have instant access. Orders placed via the telephone or post will begin within 24 working hours.

Accessing the website as a subscriber is very straightforward. Once your order is placed you will receive an email containing all the details you need.

What devices can I use?

You can use the Prospect website on any desktop, tablet or mobile device. The app is available via your app store on iOS or Android.

How do I sign-up to read Prospect’s online newsletters?

You will receive our round-up newsletter to your inbox automatically every Saturday morning. You can sign up for our other newsletters, like The Insider written by Andrew Adonis, on our website.

How do trials work?

Trial subscriptions are only available on automated payment types – for example continuous card payments or direct debit. When you take a trial you will receive details of when your follow-on payment is due to be taken. If you decide you do not want to continue with your subscription you need to contact us before that date so that the full amount is not taken. I’m giving a gift subscription, do you send anything to the recipient?

All details regarding the gift subscription will initially be sent to you, the giver of the gift and the bill payer. You will also receive a Prospect branded gift card (physical or digital) that you can pass on with your gift. The recipient will begin to receive the print magazines and/or access to digital formats from the subscription start date that you choose when ordering the gift subscription.

Shortly after your order is processed, we will be writing to the recipient so that they know how to maximise their subscription —for example by logging in to the website.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes. On our payment pages we use SSL software to encrypt your personal and payment details to ensure that your information is always kept secure. Our subscription bureau is PCI compliant level 1 which is the same level as a Bank.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Please call our customer care team on +44 (0) 330 3330173 and a member of the team will be happy to help. If you choose to cancel, we will cancel the next renewal of your subscription, such that your subscription will end at the renewal date of your current subscription term, and you will not be charged any further amounts following the expiry of your existing subscription.

Are you cutting down on plastics?

Yes. We now send print copies of Prospect in paper wrap from sustainable sources.

Can I change the address to which my print copies are sent?

Yes. Please call the Customer Care Team on +44 (0) 330 3330173 or you can do this online via your My Account portal—details of which will be sent to you once you have subscribed.

What do I do if my print copy hasn’t arrived or is damaged?

If your copy hasn’t arrived or has arrived damaged, please email the Customer Care team on or telephone +44 (0) 330 3330173 and we will arrange for a new undamaged copy to be delivered. In the meantime, please do also remember that you can access all content from the print magazine via the website and app, both of which you have full access to as a subscriber.

How do I renew my subscription?

If you chose Direct Debit or continuous credit card as your payment method, your subscription will auto-renew. If you wish to check the renewal details of your subscription or renew a subscription that was paid for by another method, you can do so by calling our Customer Care team on +44 (0) 330 3330173 or via your My Account portal—details of which will be sent to you once you have subscribed.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. We understand that from time to time you may need to take a break, so you are able to suspend your subscription for up to 3 months. Please contact our Customer Care team +44 (0) 330 3330173 and a member of the team will be happy to help.
